Weber 2004 Model 5220001 Summit Silver B Propane Gas Grill

The Weber Summit Silver B bbq grill comes in at 61 inches tall, 60 inches wide, and 30 inches deep and features an input of 44,000 Btu's per hour. The Crossover Ignition Method permits you to light all burners in succession with the push of one button. The Silver B's expanded total cooking surface of 700 square inches, including grates, warm-up basket, and warming rack, makes it easier to use different cooking styles: direct grilling for steaks and hamburgers or indirect heat for keeping grilled foods warm, toasting bread, or cooking delicate foods like fish and vegetables. The Silver B also functions a handy side burner with 12,000 Btu input that makes cooking side dishes as you grill basic and convenient. The Summit Silver B also has restaurant-grade enhancements, for example a commercial-grade front-mounted thermometer and two stainless steel cooking grate which are robot-welded for incredible strength. The hood, made of lustrous stainless steel, will never rust, peel, or fade, and its brushed stainless-steel handle stays as cool as it looks. Patented Flavorizer bars, manufactured from heavy-gauge stainless steel, eliminate flare-ups and impart a rich flavor by turning meat juice into smoke. This liquid propane (LP) model includes a 20-pound LP tank. You can find even spiderproof screens specially created to get rid of the frustrating issue of burner tubes clogged by cobwebs–Weber seriously did think of everything. Redesigned for the Summit, Weber's sturdy cart gives you even far more strength and space with two swing-up work surfaces. When you've finished cooking a delectable dinner, it is possible to store all your tools and gear in the enclosed storage region equipped with stainless-steel doors and side panels, then roll the grill away on its crackproof, all-weather wheels. Gourmet Barbecue Baked Potatoes

Gourmet Baked Potatoes On The Barbecue Grill

Most baked potatoes are simple and plain. A potato, an oven or grill, and some foil. Then we top them with all the scrumptious things we love to have with them. Well, I am about to show you a new way to bake your potatoes on the grill so they are ready to eat as soon as they are done.

When Grilling potatoes, always be sure to scrub them thoroughly before you begin. You are going to begin by preparing the potatoes before cooking them. This way all the flavors will be cooked right into them. These are great for take alongs and picnics.

Start by cutting all of your potatoes in half. Do not peel them, just cut them. Then using a metal ice cream scoop or melon baller remove a 1-2 inch round section from each half. This is where you want to add your flavors. You can put anything you like here. Some good ideas are bacon bits, butter pats, chives, and other seasonings. Avoid too much salt using this method because it tends to stay right where you put it.

The next step is to put your potato plugs that you removed back into the hole. Just shove them in as far as they will go. Then put your two halves together and wrap them snugly in foil. I like to use a couple layers of foil to help hold things like butter and cheese in. Once they are wrapped, just toss them onto the grill and let them cook. The flavors and smells of the herbs really get into the potato during the cooking process. Now you never have to eat bland baked potatoes again. These are wonderful when cooked with ribs and corn on the grill.

You can also make these in the oven but nothing beats fresh potatoes right off the barbecue. Here are a couple of handy tools to help hold your gourmet bbq potatoes in place while they are on the grill…

Choosing The Best Barbecue Gas Grill

A barbecue gas grill is a great investment. Choosing the best barbecue gas grill for entertaining guests is really just a matter of preference. Charcoal grills are also good, but most of them just don’t have the features that a good barbecue gas grill can offer. Gas barbecue grills are often built with a better stand and ignition system which makes the preferred choice to a lot of people. Barbecue grills that use gas for grilling come in a variety of models and many offer heat control, which is one thing that is hard to manage when cooking with charcoal. It is an easy adjustment if you prefer to cook your meat long and slow, simply adjust the grill grates to bring the meat a little closer to the flame and reduce the flame on the grill.

Decide on the size of your barbecue gas grill before you buy, if you only cook for two, then you will get more enjoyment from a smaller grill that is easier to clean If, however, you enjoy having a lot of guests over, the best bet is to buy a well-made larger grill right from the beginning. If you don’t, you may find that you will be purchasing a second grill later on for more cooking space. It is best to decide what size grill you need right from the start.

Be sure to buy a well made barbecue gas grill. You can find good quality gas bbq grills for reasonable prices if you take your time and look around. Some of the best grills for withstanding harsh weather are those made from stainless steel. One that comes to mind is the lynx gas barbecue grill. Lynx is known to be a top of the line grill manufacturer but you pay dearly for that quality, they can run up into the thousands and if you spring for one, you are sure to be happy with it for a very long time. If the cost of a lynx ix a bit out of your reach, there are a few other companies that make good quality stainless steel grills without all the bells and whistles for just a few hundred dollars. Whatever type of grill you decide on, just make sure that the quality standard id there or you may find that it wears out and begins to rust before you even had a chance to break it in.

A good gas barbecue grill can last many years, some even a lifetime of you are careful about your choices and make good decisions when purchasing it.
